The roots of the Family with the well-known coat of arms ‘TIPALDO’- Foresti (Branch) are traced in the deep past with origins from various countries, among them Hungary and Italy.Evangeloula Tipaldo Foresti and her ancestors held titles of nobility as well as formed the political agenda of their time culminating in their contribution to the field of Music through the action of Evangeloula who was a Pianist of the time with great distinctions both abroad and at the territories of Kefalonia.The son of Spyridon-Tipaldo Foresti from Argostoli, father of Evangeloula Foresti and grandfather of Athanasios Kyrangelos (their last descendant) was Vice President of the Greek Parliament. Evangeloula Foresti and Angiolina Tipaldo Foresti (mother of Evangeloula and wife of Spyridon Tipaldo Foresti) were the only women who were immortalized in the Celebration of Agia Lavra on March 25, 1911 on the National Paligenesia 1821-1911 during the reign of George I.The contribution of Villa Forestata is invaluable starting from the past until today as in this special place took place the most important gatherings,accomodations and discussions about the current events of the time that contributed to the development of the Ionian Islands through various extensions even commercial.Today, Villa Forestata's vision is further enhanced by both the accommodation and the musical legacy that forms the contemporary musical data cited as a contribution to the Ionian Islands in the footsteps of its ancestors.
